Notable School Alumni
This week, we proudly celebrate and recognise some of our distinguished alumni whose contributions continue to shape Uganda and inspire future generations. Over the years, Kitante Hill School has nurtured learners who have gone on to excel in diverse fields including leadership, arts, sports, and public service. While the list of our accomplished past students is extensive, we take special recognition this week of the following outstanding individuals:
Dr. Kiiza Besigye – A retired Colonel of the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) and a prominent national figure. He has been a presidential candidate in the 2001, 2006, 2011, and 2016 general elections, and remains widely recognised for his role in Uganda’s political landscape.
Moses Ssali (Bebe Cool) – An award-winning musician and one of Uganda’s most influential artists, celebrated for his contribution to the growth and international recognition of the Ugandan music industry.
Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) – A renowned recording artist, performer, and public figure, widely known for using music as a platform for social commentary and civic engagement.
Moses Muhangi – A professional boxer and the President of the Uganda Boxing Federation, recognised for his dedication to developing boxing and nurturing young talent across the country.
These alumni exemplify the values of excellence, resilience, and leadership that Kitante Hill School seeks to instil in every learner.
