Kitante Hill S1 Selection
Excitement as Kitante Hill School is allocated 360 S1 students by Government
The Deputy Head Teacher of Kitante Hill School, Mlay Sandrah, has applauded the successful conclusion of this year’s Senior One (S1) Government Selection Exercise, describing it as a milestone moment for the school and a strong vote of confidence from government.
Speaking shortly after the two-day event, Mlay noted that this year’s selection process was not only smooth and well coordinated, but also deeply focused on guidance and counselling, ensuring that learners are placed in schools that best support their academic strengths and personal growth.
For the first time, the exercise attracted the presence of two Ministers from the Ministry of Education and Sports, State Minister for Higher Education, Hon John Chrysostom Muyingo, and State Minister for Primary Education, Hon. Joyce Kaducu. Their presence underscored the importance government attaches to quality education and effective student placement.
Their emphasis went beyond academics. They highlighted the growing importance of co curricular activities, sports, and holistic development in shaping well rounded citizens ready to compete both nationally and globally.
A Strong Vote of Confidence for Kitante Hill School
This year, Government entrusted Kitante Hill School with 360 Senior One students from some of the country’s most prominent primary schools. “If Government can entrust us with such a significant number of children, we call upon parents to also entrust us with their sons. We shall do our very best to ensure they excel,” Mlay affirmed.
This trust reflects the school’s consistent academic performance, disciplined environment, and strong tradition of excellence.
To match the growing demand and maintain high standards, the school is currently expanding its infrastructure to provide even better facilities for learning and student life.
With the support of a strong and influential alumni network, Kitante Hill School is also enhancing its co-curricular programs including sports, clubs, and talent development in line with government’s renewed focus on holistic education.
The S1 Selection Exercise, organized by the Ministry of Education and Sports, places learners who have completed their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) into secondary schools across the country.
As spaces continue to fill quickly, parents are encouraged to secure admission early by using the school’s official online application portal:
